Welcome! This summer, I am offering in-person art lessons for individuals or small groups, to students ages 10 to 18.
You have the option of weekly or biweekly (every other week) lessons, beginning the week of June 22 through the week of August 31. We can absolutely tailor your lesson schedule to you to work around your summer schedule to allow for vacations and the like.
I can come to you, or we can work at a site that works for both of us.
Weekly lessons are $50/student per session (10% group discount).
Biweekly lessons are $75/student per session (10% group discount).

What to Expect
I work with each student to tailor their art curriculum to them, within an intentional structure that provides the fundamentals — which means exploring various media, styles, methods, and more, together. A student who loves drawing may not ever have had a chance to explore painting, and this kind of expansive art experience can ignite curiosity and confidence.

Because of our bespoke curriculum, students also get to explore their unique challenges — if drawing hands has mystified or frustrated your student in the past, our time together allows for us to approach these challenges from new angles. Students’ ideas for their art explorations get to come to life.

A classically trained art educator who has taught high school (and younger) art classes for years, I understand and have experience working with all ages, and all experience levels: students new to art, as well as those who already have a portfolio and are looking to expand and deepen their work, are all welcome at my drawing table.

Because my lessons are 1:1 or very small groups (capped at 4 students), your student will get more individualized time, attention, feedback, and instruction so that their artistry and artwork has room to shine.
